From the conception of EMM’s first home-grown project, a bit more than a year ago, the first edition of Away from the Comfort Zone has come full circle. The encounter of artists who hadn’t previously worked together, discussing, rehearsing and setting innovative concepts led to five fruitful performances, an eventful part of Circuit’s 2020…

Looking back, EMM team and performers share their experience in this mini-documentary. With the content having been collected right after the performances were recorded, the artists share raw insight on having been taken outside of their comfort zones, jumping into collaboration and tackling challenges they faced.
