This film focuses on an uncontrollable 20-year-old anorexic girl, Ellen, who spent the majority of her teenage years moving from one recovery program to another, each time moving backwards rather than forward.

Her family, although dysfunctional, decides to send her to a group home for youths led by an avant-garde doctor. All this eventually challenges Ellen to discover for herself how to overcome her obstacles and health condition while attempting self-acceptance. The discussion after the film shall focus on the journey one has to go through to overcome any obstacles that can arise from any health conditions, specifically eating disorders. Refreshments will also be provided free of charge at the end of the event only if COVID-19 restrictions permit. The audience’s safety will be considered as the organiser’s priority.
