Circuits 2021 | Festival Day 2

Electronic Music Malta, Malta’s home of contemporary electronic music, is back with the 2021 edition of Circuits Festival on the 23rd and 24th October, 2021.

On the 24th, there will be performances by Marlies Debacker who will play several compositions making use of extended piano techniques and preparations and, as part of the ‘Away from the Comfort Zone’ project, Rochelle Gatt (Malta) & Sabine Ercklentz (Germany) and Neil Hales (Malta) & Wolter Wierbos (The Netherlands).

The new sequencing / drone sound device named Storbju Terramaxka will be demonstrated and presented by Mike Desira.

There will be masterclasses on music production, sound engineering, djing, modular synthesis and more organised by Sawtooth Audio Academy.

Circuits is organised by Electronic Music Malta which is supported by the Arts Council Malta. This event is part of the Spazju Kreattiv programme and is further supported by the German Maltese Circle and Air Malta.
