The works presented in the multi-media exhibition 'DIS-' stem from the role and use of creative practice in research and its contribution to knowledge in the visual arts.

Not Just The City demonstrates a sample of the work produced away from ‘The City’ exactly at the farthest North Western tip of the Maltese Islands. 27 Projects by 38 artists produced in the remote and relatively laid-back environment of Għarb will be on exhibit.

Maree Azzopardi’s new works continue the artist’s ongoing engagement with themes of the human body, religious symbolism, and the polarities of earth and water.

Julinu’s Radioactive Ravioli is a pop-surrealist, oil-painting exhibition by Julian Mallia, aka Julinu, presenting a strangely familiar, alternate universe.

Having met during a month-long residency at SIM in Reykjavik Iceland, they continue to hold informal conversational exchanges, a mechanism that acts as the starting point for this project.
