DIY Synth Building Workshop

The workshop in Studio A is now fully booked. Individuals interested in attending the workshop can still do so via Zoom by following the link provided. Participants attending online will be given the opportunity to ask questions during the workshop. The live stream will only be available to those individuals that own the Storbju Noise Monger Kit (currently sold out). Those who have pre-ordered it can also join the live stream.

This workshop is a great way to learn how to build the ‘Storbju Noise Monger’ device.

Designed by Mike Desira and Frank Cachia, this simple electronic noise generating device is now available from Electronic Music Malta.

During this workshop, participants are introduced to the basic soldering skills and taken through the stages of building this simple DIY synth device. Soldering iron stations will be available, but the participants need to buy a Storbju Noise Monger kit to attend this workshop.

This workshop will be a hybrid event, live in Spazju Kreattiv – subject to COVID-19 health protocols – and also streamed live online. Bookings for this workshop and the purchase of the Storbju device can be made via email on [email protected].
