Train The Trainer – Inclusive Practice in the Creative Arts, by Opening Doors Association

Date and time: Saturday, 8 February, 2020, (9.00am-5.30pm) Venues: Studio A, Studio B and Atrium, Spazju Kreattiv Free entrance, but booking is required. The purpose of the ‘Train the Trainer’ project is to provide continuous professional development to practitioners working within the disability and artistic sector. Opening Doors Association aims to provide further professional development opportunities to its current practitioners, through the exploration of distinctive insights into both artistic and teaching processes. The training programme is also intended for freelance artists, performing arts graduates and anyone who works in the creative arts and community sector to further enhance the necessary skills to pursue their craft and practice in the community arts. We hope to encourage artists, students and trainers within the performing arts field to gain the necessary knowledge and competences to be able to work effectively with performers with intellectual disabilities. To book your place you are requested to send an email on [email protected]. Places are limited and bookings are made on a first-come-first-served basis. We want everyone to enjoy this free event. Please be considerate and don’t book your tickets unless you’re sure you’ll be attending.
